5.2.4. Pollution Control
On the basis of the initial scores assigned to the Hot Spots as a result of the detailed evaluation using the scoring tables, individual weighted scores were derived for the Pollution Load Sub-Category. These weighted scores range from 5,000 to 0 (see Table 5.1). The following Hot Spots rank highest in terms of their individual weighted scores:
- Kyiv Vodokanal Company;
- Dnipropetrovsk Water Utility;
- Korotchenko Mine of the “SelidovUgol” Coal-Mining Company in Selidovo;
- Zaporizhstal Metallurgical Plant in Zaporizhzhia; and
- KrivorizhStal Steel Plant in Krivy Rig.
