The section, which examines the impact of Hot Spots on biodiversity and the environment was based on official data from ministries and departments of the Russian Federation and their agencies, and official publications of reports, maps and reviewed scientific research. Thus, the reliability of the data utilized reflects the current knowledge of the Dnipro River Basin in the territory of the Russian Federation.
