The Second Meeting of the Ukrainian Programme Management Committee under the UNDP-GEF Dnipro Basin Environment Programme was held at the Ministry for Environmental Protection of Ukraine in Kyiv. The Committee members reviewed the progress and results achieved under the Dnipro Programme in 2006, presented at the meeting by the Programme Manager, Leaders of Ukrainian National Working Groups, established in order to fulfil tasks identified for each of the components of the Programme, and individual experts involved in these tasks. The Meeting participants also agreed upon the plan of activities for implementing the objectives and tasks specified under the Programme for 2007.
